- Rasi porutham — for a bride with Karka rasi, it matches when the groom's rasi is Mesha, Vrishabha, Karka, Makara, Meena (same rasi counts only with a different star).
- Vasya — Karka is vasya with Vrishabha, Vrishchika, Dhanu.
- Bhakoot dosha (Ashtakoota) — Moon signs 2/12, 5/9 or 6/8 apart: Karka with Mithuna, Simha, Vrishchika, Dhanu, Kumbha, Meena. It is cancelled when the two sign lords are the same planet or mutual friends.
- Rasyadhipathi — compares the Moon with the lord of the partner's rasi: the same planet or mutual friends match, an enemy on either side fails, anything else is partial.
Matching here uses the birth stars only, with the rules AstroRealm applies (strict view: partial matches not counted). A full match also depends on the rasi and pada, which come from the exact birth time — check the full matching with both birth details, and consult an astrologer before deciding.
